Bill Stone, former chairman of the Jefferson County Republican Party, and David Banks, former Alderman and present attorney to the Board of Alderman, will present the opposing views.

·        Oct. 6, 7, 8  - St. James Art Show, 10 AM – 7 PM each day

·        Oct. 17 – Speed Art Museum, “Departing from Conceptual Art,” Djawid C. Borower: Portraits of Money.

·        Oct. 19 – Speed Art Museum, 6 to 9 PM, Lovely Linda, guest DJ John Ramsey of Jammin’ Oldies Magic 101.3.  Linda McCartney’s Sixties Combo: Ticket $10.

·        Oct. 20 – Neighborhood Place yard sale. Tables can be rented for $10. Call 634-7072, Madalyn Marableds.

·        Oct. 20-22 – Friends of the Library Fall Book Sale at Slugger Field. Thousands of books available at bargain prices, including books-on-tape.  For more information call 574-1648.

·        Oct. 21 – The Velvet Years 1965-67: Warhol’s Factory, a Collection of Photographs by Stephen Shore from the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Museum.

·        Oct. 24 – “Taste of Asia” at the Crane House on Third Street.  Area Asian restaurants and chefs will provide samplings of special Asian dishes to be served.  For more information call 635-2240.
