Old Louisville's St James Court

A house sometimes affectionately referred to by
many as the Taj Mahal. The style of the
porch evokes India and Arabia to some,
though it is more correctly Venetian Gothic.

Originally, four lions "guarded"
St. James Court. Two were
sacrificed for the war effort (WWI)
and two remain.
